North American Construction Group believes strongly in giving back to the communities in which we operate. By pledging support to causes that we as a company feel strongly about, NACG hopes to improve the quality of life and increase opportunities for individuals in our communities. Some of the causes NACG is proud to support include:
In September of 2019, NACG helped cut the ribbon on a brand new otudoor playground for Kids Kottage – Edmonton’s first and only crisis nursery. Within the walls of this safe, nurturing environment, kids can spend up to 72 hours receiving the care and attention they need, while their parents tackle the serious issues that face them.
STARS Air Ambulance (Alberta)
Since 2000, NACG has been a proud supporter of STARS, the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society. The non-profit organization has been servicing Alberta since 1985, and now also provides enhanced patient care and transport for seriously injured patients in Saskatchewan and Manitoba as well. In January of 2013, STARS recognized NACG’s ongoing support by emblazing our logo on the tail fin of each of their helicopters flying in Western Canada. With our employees working in some of the province’s most remote areas, it’s reassuring to know that help
University of Alberta
NACG is working with the University of Alberta as an industry partner of the National Science and Research Council of Canada Industrial Chair. Our annual donation to their ongoing research projects will assist NACG in accurately measuring our carbon footprint so that we can take measures to reduce it and remain a strong environmental advocate.
Keyano College (Fort McMurray)
North American Construction has been a proud supporter of Keyano College since 2002.
Serving the Wood Buffalo region, Keyano College is committed to excellence in teaching and learning, with a focus on industry specific training through the delivery of relevant programs and services.
In 2015, NACG donated a Pro3 Heavy Equipment Simulator to Keyano College to help train the next generation of heavy equipment operator. The simulator and various equipment components were valued at over $1 million dollars.

McDonald Island Park (Fort McMurray)
NACG is proud to support MacDonald Island Park.
With Fort McMurray being one of Canada’s major growth regions, world-class facilities such as McDonald Island Park will play a key role in attracting skilled workers and their families to the region to help it grow.
As a proud member of the community, we know that McDonald Island Park will serve the Wood Buffalo region for decades to come and provide an accessible, state-of-the-art recreational venue for all ages. The North American Construction ‘Red Fox’ Executive Meeting Room has been named in commemoration of our support.
Santa’s Anonymous (Fort McMurray)
NACG staff working and living in the Wood Buffalo region have long been proud supporters of Santa’s Anonymous, which delivers the spirit of Christmas to approximately 25,000 less fortunate children in Alberta. Each year, staff hold silent auctions and fundraisers to support the charity, and have made a significant impact in their yearly fundraising totals.
